The Clinic Manager manages all aspects of clinical operations for assigned clinic(s).  Responsible for overall employee performance, staffing and front office activities, including reception area, distribution and review of mail, large purchasing requests, inventory control, and facility management.  Also, responsible for directing and coordinating office services and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services and equipment. Clinic Manager responsibility:
-Participates in clinic management discussions with the CEO, COO, Area Operations Manager and provider partners.
-Ensures that new hires are oriented and have successfully completed all new hire training.
-Provides constructive feedback to employees as needed. Participates in the disciplinary action of employees as needed.
-Oversees ordering for medical and office equipment in the clinic. Participates in marketing for the clinic.
-Ensures that deposits are taken to the bank at least twice a week.
-Reviews financial reports with management and assists in improving clinic financials.
-Ensures that clinic is staffed appropriately by publishing schedule for the front and back office, overseeing call
ins, and covering shifts when unable to find coverage for patient liaisons or patient care specialists.
-Submits invoices to COO weekly for processing.
-Handles patient complaints and involves appropriate management team members when appropriate. Conducts staff meetings when appropriate.

Employment Management responsibility:
-Selects, trains, supervises, and develops employees and monitors quality and production level of site staff.
-Ensures staff is adequately trained and equipped to perform their jobs.
-Ensures staff follow all clinic policies and procedures, using performance management when needed to hold staff accountable and license are current.

Customer Relations Responsibility:
-Interacts with customers, reviews customer feedback, and addresses customer service issues.
-Identifies community marketing opportunities and engages staff in marketing for the clinic.
-Ensures patient satisfaction; achieves overall clinic operational metrics such as door to doc times and overall patient experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education-
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience- 
At least 1 year of previous experience in supervisory or management position.
Skills- 
Good planning and organizational skills.  
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.  
Previous training in HIPAA, bloodborne pathogens, COR and emergency procedures.  
Proficient and able to train others in common computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, Internet and Email. Superior customer service skills.  
Ability to lift 15-20 pounds.
License/ Certifications- 
BLS certification required.
We prefer that our clinic managers hold a current national registered radiologic technologist in the state worked in.
Or a current Licensed Vocational Nurse License in the State worked in (or compact license with the state of Texas Only).

Overall Responsibility:
NP or PA will provide primary and episodic care to patients following accepted standards and protocols.
Skills and Attributes:

  • Understanding of medical coding and billing.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens and others.
  • Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to supervise, train and evaluate new and current provider staff.

Education/Experience:

  • Degree from accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Board certification NP or PA credentials.
  • State and federal licensure requirements including DEA.
  • BLS certification
