Medical Assistant job responsibilities include:

  • Assist the provider in the examination and treatment of patients, following established standards and practices as directed by clinic provider
  • Triage patients including documenting vitals and medical history
  • Prepare examination room by positioning instruments and equipment
  • Administer injections, medications, venipuncture, and wound care as directed by provider orders
  • Perform diagnostic tests and collect lab specimens
  • Monitor disposable inventory and places orders for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals
  • Clean and sterilize exam rooms and medical equipment between patients
  • Help cover front desk responsibilities as needed
  • This position will be required to be trained in X-Ray
Medical Assistant required skills & qualifications include: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
  • 2+ years MA experience preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology required
  • Up-to-date BLS certification
  • Must be proficient with computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite

Shift Details: Rotating shift schedules help our team maintain a healthy work-life balance. You’ll work just 7 out of every 14 days!
2-week rotation is as follows:
               Week 1:
Scheduled-Monday and Tuesday
Off- Wednesday and Thursday
Scheduled-Friday, Saturday and Sunday
               Week 2:
Off- Monday and Tuesday
Scheduled- Wednesday and Thursday
Off- Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsibilities include:

  • Perform initial patient assessment including medical history and vitals
  • Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination by provider
  • Administers injections and medications, perform wound care and other procedures as directed by provider
  • Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, blood draws, diagnostic tests, and lab specimen collections
  • Perform occupational medicine protocols, using proper technique and guidelines
  • Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and exam room between patients
  • Maintain medical charts and ensure patient follow-up
  • Inventory control and resupply
  • This position will be required to be trained in X-Ray
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) skills and qualifications include:

  • Licensure from an accredited school and current OK LPN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Urgent care experience preferred
